Still having reservations?
We tell our patients to base their decisions off 3 important things:
Could being overweight ACTUALLY be dangerous?
In short, Yes...
Being overweight or obese is the root cause of many chronic diseases, including:
Coronary artery disease, Stroke, Type 2 diabetes, High blood pressure, High cholesterol (includes triglycerides which contribute to plaque in the arteries), Fatty liver disease, Certain cancers, Osteoarthritis, Sleep apnea, Endocrine disorders, Insulin Resistance, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, Mood disorders, Back & Joint pain
How fast can I expect to lose weight on Semaglutide or Tirzepatide?
Everybody is different, which can cause people to see different results at different times. For most, weight loss starts as early as 2-4 weeks and can last longer than a year with consistent monitoring.
We think of it this way...
You didn’t gain the weight in a month, so you can’t expect to lose it in a month.
Why doesn’t Assure Telemed take insurance?
It has become harder and harder to get insurance companies to cover medical weight loss products. Instead of charging our customers more to employ an insurance department, we have found it to be more beneficial to limit our expenses and pass the savings onto you.
Does injecting yourself hurt?
Not at all...
The needles are super fine and delicate in nature. In terms of size comparison, the needles you will use are similar in diameter to a strand of human hair, which provides very little- to no discomfort to the patient.
What does “compounded” mean?
When a doctor prescribes a compounded medication, they are veering away from mass- produced and commercialized medications.
Although they may not hold the same brand-name, compounded medications are prepared by compounding pharmacists who have received specialized training in compounding techniques and adhere to strict quality standards to ensure the safety, efficacy, and consistency of the final product.
